–People caught up with Anna Maria Perez de Tagle to talk about her role in the remake of Fame. In the movie, Anna Maria plays “Joy,” who she says she’s a lot alike. She reveals she’ll take fashion risks and more.
She dishes that Fame is her first movie and she sees it as a springboard towards more challenging roles. She says that rehearsing for “Hannah Montana” helped her prepare for the movie and filming. She also revealed that when she found out she got the part, she screamed at the top of her lungs. She loves to show her individuality in her performances and is living her own “Fame” dream.
