-Three of Disney’s hit shows collide in the new Disney DVD “Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana.” 9 of Disney’s biggest stars come together for an action packed, fun-filled crossover special aboard the USS Tipton, and aboard a boat, there is always fun!
The DVD stars off with the special “Wizards of Waverly Place” episode as Justin Russo (David Henrie) wins an essay contest and is awarded a trip on the teen cruise of the USS Tipton and a picture with London Tipton (Brenda Song). Unfortunately, Alex Russo (Selena Gomez) is failing some classes and her parents ground her from the cruise, but that doesn’t stop her from finding a way on it. The wizards then board the Tipton and meet the cast of “The Suite Life on Deck.” Bailey (Debby Ryan) and Alex become friends and Max Russo (Jake T Austin) and Zack Martin (Dylan Sprouse) challenge each other on who is a better troublemaker.
The adventures keep coming in the following episodes of “The Suite Life on Deck” and “Hannah Montana” as Alex gets revenge on Justin by turning him blue, Max falls for London, Cody tries to win Bailey “Hannah Montana” concert tickets to impress her, and Hannah loses her lucky charm bracelet.
Disney Channel always has a winner when it combines some of their biggest stars. They had a hit when they first did it with “The That’s So Suite Life of Hannah Montana” and they sure have another hit on their hands. If you’re a fan of Disney Channel, or any of these three shows, be sure to pick up the DVD. The bonus features include a behind-the-scenes look, and one of our favorite features on any DVD…Bloopers! With the success of these crossovers, we can only wonder if Disney will repeat it and bring their two newest shows to meet with another, maybe “Jonas With A Chance of Wizards”? (Combining “Sonny with a Chance,” “JONAS” and “Wizards of Waverly Place”) Just a suggestion. 😉
