Exclusive Cody Linley Interview

SO-M: What was your very first acting job?
Cody Linley: My very first acting job as when I was almost 9 years old. It was a film called "Still Holding On" It wasn’t a very big role but I was very thankful.
SO-M: How did you get into acting?
CL: I first got into acting by my brother Chad. Once he started I wanted to follow in his footsteps.
SO-M: What was it like working
on "Hoot"?
CL: It was amazing! I made a lot of best friends on the set!
SO-M: Was it hard running around
barefoot all the time?
CL: At first it was hard. I had to practice a lot.
SO-M: Did you ever think you’d get such a huge positive fan response from guest starring on "Hannah Montana"?
CL: Wow. Wow. Wow. I had no idea how powerful Disney Channel is.
SO-M: What was the best part about working on "Hannah Montana"?
CL: Probably the cast. They all are really fun people.
SO-M: Will you be returning to the show anytime in the future?
CL: Yes! You will be seeing a lot more Jake Ryan!
SO-M: You just filmed a new movie with Emily Osment, what can you tell us about that?
CL: It was really fun working with Emily Osment again. I had a lot of fun.
SO-M: Which is harder, working on a TV show or filming a movie?
CL: A movie. Because it is a lot longer and everything has to be PERFECT.
SO-M: Do you play any musical instruments?
CL: Yes, electric and acoustic guitar.
SO-M: Have you ever thought about branching out into singing like many of the young stars are doing?

SO-M: Are your friends that aren’t in the business supportive?
CL: They are very supportive of what I do. At the end of the day I know who my true friends are.
SO-M: What’s the hardest part about being in show business?
CL: Rumors. I try not to care but they just get ridiculous.
SO-M: What’s the best part?
CL: I love what I do. I love my job.
SO-M: What are your hobbies?
CL: Basketball, playing my guitar, hanging out with friends, music, and lot of more stuff.
SO-M: Who are your role models/inspirations?
CL: Tom Hanks! He’s the man!
SO-M: What advice would you give someone who is interested in being an actor?
CL: A lot of people will turn you down. Be ready and don’t mind what other people say. Because if you try hard enough you will get to where you want to be.

CL: I would love to do another movie with Brie Larson, just because she is awesome.
SO-M: If you were a crayon, what color would you be?
CL: Green because… I like green.

CL: Yes, but really… who hasn’t?

CL: Jessica Alba.

CL: Laid back, chill.

CL: American Eagle.
SO-M: Do you ever visit fansites and messageboards?
CL: Fansites, yes. Messageboards, not so much.
SO-M: If you were a superhero, what would your name be and your power?
CL: Cad. My power would be to read minds! That would be awesome!
SO-M: Have you ever been mistaken for another celebrity?
CL: Yes, a lot of times I was mistaken for Jason Dolley.
SO-M: What is your guilty pleasure?
CL: CHOCOLATE!
SO-M: What is something you want fans to know about you?
CL: I am your typical kid next door.
