The “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” Cast Strike A Pose for New Season 2 Photos

We are a little less than 2 months away from season 2 of “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series”!

As we eagerly await our first glimpse at a trailer, Disney+ has released brand new promotional photos of the cast. The cast includes Olivia Rodrigo, Joshua Bassett, Sofia Wylie, Larry Saperstein, Dara Renee, Frankie A Rodriguez, Matt Cornett, Julia Lester, Joe Serafini, Kate Reinders & Mark St. Cyr.

Season 2 will kick off May 14 as we see our favorite wildcats take on Beauty & The Beast for the Spring musical. Season 1 left off with a few cliffhangers including whether Nini will tell Ricky she got into the conservatory and whether or not Gina will move in with Ashlyn. In addition, a new romance was budding between Big Red and Ashlyn but now some new characters will be causing drama.

If you thought Ricky and EJ were the biggest rivals, think again. Season 2 will introduce us to rival North High who are cutthroat and determined to win the student theater competition against East High. Oh, and North High’s program is run by Miss Jenn’s ex played by Derek Hough. We can already feel the tension.

Olivia Rose Keegan, Roman Banks, Andrew Barth Feldman and Asher Angel will also be joining season 2.
