The adventures of Sydney, Max and their friends are set to continue on Disney Channel.

We have been eagerly waiting for season 3 of “Sydney to the Max,” and it will be here before you know it. The season will kick off on Friday, March 19 at 8:25pm ET/PT on Disney Channel.

“Sydney to the Max” is set in both the present day and the ’90s and follows outgoing middle schooler Sydney Reynolds who lives with her single dad Max in the house he grew up in, along with her free-spirited grandmother Judy. As Sydney navigates becoming a teenager alongside her bestie Olive, Max’s flashbacks of his childhood with his best friend Leo parallel her adventures, illustrating how life’s “growing pains” evolve but don’t really change.

So what can we expect in season 3? Well, Sydney, Max and their friends will be taking on the 8th grade! Which means taking on challenging and relevant issues such as struggles with cultural identity, trying to fit in, coping with divorce and the impact of microaggressions. Additional storylines featured in season three touch upon the pitfalls of social media, funny moments when dealing with your crush, and adapting to having a virtual bat mitzvah instead of your dream celebration.

Sounds totally relatable to us!

The series stars actress and musician Ruth Righi (Sydney), Ian Reed Kesler (Adult Max), Caroline Rhea (Judy Reynolds), Ava Kolker (Olive), Jackson Dollinger (Young Max) and Christian J. Simon (Leo).
