Update: Unfortunately this rumor has been debunked by Variety’s sources. Bummer!

The (fantastic) “Big Hero 6” animated series just came to an end, but this may not be the last we see of our beloved misfits.

“Big Hero 6” was originally a Marvel three-issue miniseries written by Scott Lobdell that debuted in 1998. It then became a critically acclaimed Disney animated movie in 2014 that also spawned an animated series on Disney Channel. Now the fun of “Big Hero 6” may continue in live-action form!

According to DisInsider, the BH6 characters may just be making their live-action debut in the MCU soon. There’s no other details yet but it seems like Baymax and Hiro would be the ones most likely to crossover first. If that happens, we’d love for Ryan Potter to reprise his role as Hiro in live-action form. We’re not sure if this would be possible though as Ryan currently appears as Beast Boy in rival DC’s “Titans.”

Since there are minimal details, we’re still not 100% sold on this happening, but if it does, how funny would it be to see Baymax interacting with the likes of Thor and Bucky Barnes? Plus, with the Big Hero 6 gang being a diverse group, we’d love to see that brought to life on scren.

So, what do you think of these rumors of the Big Hero 6 characters making their way into the MCU? Who would you cast as the live-action versions? Sound off in the comments. Until then, you can get your fill of Marvel with “Wandavision” on Disney+.
