Taylor Swift will have to see if the third time is the charm at the 2020 Golden Globes.

The singer/actress stars in the upcoming movie adaptation of Cats and also wrote a new song for the soundtrack. The song, “Beautiful Ghosts,” has earned Taylor her third career Golden Globes nomination. Taylor took to twitter to share some photos from the recording process and said, “I woke up today to the news that Beautiful Ghosts is nominated for a Golden Globe – it’s so cool that one of the most fun, fulfilling creative experiences I’ve ever had is being honored in this way by the HFPA.”

She then continued, “I ended up spending many days on set watching the other performers do their scenes. Watching the character Victoria, played by Frankie Hayward inspired me so much and Beautiful Ghosts was the result. Congrats to my co-writer and buddy 4 life
@OfficialALW. This is just purrfect.”

We can’t wait to see Taylor in Cats on December 20, 2019. Fingers crossed Taylor finally takes home a Golden Globe on January 5, 2020. If you haven’t listened to the song, take a listen below.
