What do you get if you mix Ferris Bueller’s Day Off with Zombieland and Stranger Things? You get Netflix’s newest binge-worthy show Daybreak.
Daybreak is a post-apocalyptic, genre-bending series that takes place in the city of Glendale, California. After a nuclear blast the night of Homecoming, the adults are turned into ghoulies and the city is populated by marauding gangs of jocks, gamers, the 4-H Club, and other fearsome tribes who are kicking ass as they fight to survive. Now slacker Josh Wheeler is on a mission to find his love Sam and he’ll make some unlikely allies in fellow misfits Wesley and Angelica. Will they be able to take on the jocks or start their own tribe?
The show premiered October 24 on Netflix and we had the chance to sit down with Colin Ford and Austin Crute who play Josh Wheeler and Wesley Fists. The duo chatted about getting into character, training with swords, working with Matthew Broderick and much more. Watch the full interview above.
