We were all obsessed with To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, so we weren’t too surprised when Noah Centineo took home the orange blimp in that category at the Kids Choice Awards 2019.
The part that made our hearts swell was the fact he was presented the award by Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse star Shameik Moore and none other than Lana Condor. In his speech, Noah thanked the team behind the film as well as Lana. He then gave a shoutout to his old school and said, “I’m just a kid from South Florida. Somehow I’m on this stage and it’s because of you guys.
Every single kid watching this, every single kid in this building, you have a voice and it is an important voice and I am just here because of you. Thank you so much. Use that voice, believe in yourselves, believe in each other.”
Noah then ended his speech by telling everyone it’s time to stop bullying and to stand up for each other. We love that he used his speech to spread a great message. Now he’s heading back off to work on the sequel to To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. Check out a video of him and Lana having some fun in the makeup trailer here.
