Hulu’s highly-anticipated adaptation of John Green’s novel, Looking for Alaska, has added 6 more faces to its cast.

Landry Bender, Jordan Connor, Uriah Shelton, Jay Lee, Denny Love & Sofia Vassilieva will be series regulars for the eight-episode limited series joining leads Kristine Froseth and Charlie Plummer.

“Looking for Alaska” follows teenager Miles “Pudge” Halter (Plummer), as he enrolls in boarding school to try to gain a deeper perspective on life. He falls in love with a girl, Alaska Young (Froseth), and after her unexpected death, he and his close friends attempt to uncover the truth behind her death and make sense of it.

Find out which of the characters each of the actors will be playing.

1Charlie Plummer as Miles “Pudge” Halter

Best known for All the Money in the World and Lean On Pete, Plummer takes on the role of gangly teenager Miles. Bookish and unpopular in his native Florida, Miles has won a scholarship to the prestigious Culver Creek Academy in Alabama, and he’s more than willing to start all over, in a new school and a brand new state. Miles has memorized all the Famous Last Words of all the great men of history — and pretty much nobody else in Florida gives a rat’s ass about his morbid hobby. After escaping his mother’s smothering farewell embraces, Miles finds that academic life is not all that different at Culver Creek — only at this school, there is a clique of outcasts that instantly accepts Miles as a blood brother. And since this clique includes the fetching, mercurial, utterly lovable Alaska Young, Miles joins up on the spot.

2Kristine Froseth as Alaska Young

Froseth broke out thanks to the her role in Netflix’s Sierra Burgess is a Loser. She’ll play Alaska Young, a beautiful, mercurial, and unpredictable, the girl who broke your heart in high school — or she’s the girl it broke your heart not to be. An obsessive reader, she’s another student at Culver Creek Academy, a member of The Colonel’s clique of outcasts. An effervescent young woman who attracts Miles’s instant attention, she’s still a ball of fire, and it’s a pretty sure thing that somehow, some way, Miles is going to get burned here. Her outward confidence hides a broken home, and a past she is trying to outrun.

3Landry Bender as Sara

Bender is best known for “Best Friends Whenever” & “Fuller House. She’ll be playing Sara, The Colonel’s girlfriend. She also is short and angry – but her rage is only directed at The Colonel because he manages to do something that pisses her off pretty much every time they interact. She and The Colonel are one of those bickering couples who spend their lives hollering at each other.

Bender shared her excitement about the news on Instagram saying, “here we go!!!!! 🥰 It’s actually wild how much @johngreenwritesbooks has impacted my life and growing up. I already adore these people so much and we’re about to make something SO special!!! The care and thought going into this series is seriously unmatched and I’m so grateful to be a part of it 💫”

4Denny Love as The Colonel

Love plays The Colonel, a short, muscular and very smart tank of a young man. The Colonel (his real name is Chip Martin) is a scholarship student and under orders from his mother to get a good enough education. He’s an enemy of the lacrosse jocks (aka “The Weekday Warriors”) and regards Alaska, Miles and Takumi (Lee) as his friends. He’s insanely loyal to his friends.

5Uriah Shelton as Longwell

The former “Girl Meets World” star will be playing Longwell, a handsome, rich and entitled jock (aka a “Weekday Warrior” douchebag) at the school. A rich kid, he despises The Colonel and all of his non-jock friends, making their lives as miserable as possible.

6Jordan Connor as Kevin

Connor is best known as Sweet Pea on “Riverdale” and now he’ll be taking on the character of Kevin. Kevin is Longwell’s acolyte and not-so-bright friend. Kevin is another “Weekday Warrior” lacrosse bro, follows Longwell’s lead in everything and blames The Colonel when a member of their clique gets expelled.

7Jay Lee as Takumi

Lee’s Takumi is a member of The Colonel’s group of outcasts. He’s famous for knowing all the gossip and effortlessly bounces back between the two groups of friends but is ever loyal to The Colonel and Alaska.

8Sofia Vassilieva as Lara

The former “Medium” star plays Lara, a cute, shy and sweet girl from Romania, who develops a crush on Miles.

The cast is currently in production in Hammond, LA and the show will hopefully hit the streaming service later this year. What do you think of this cast?
