The Grove was turned into the ultimate carnival and concert venue on Saturday for the TJ Martell Foundation’s 9th Annual Los Angeles Family Day.
The event was hosted by “American Housewife” star Meg Donnelly and Radio Disney’s Morgan Tompkins. Guests were treated to a delicious buffet and Halo Top ice cream and after filling up they could play some fun games, ride a mechanical skateboard or enjoy live music. “American Idol” winner Maddie Poppe and “Andi Mack” star Asher Angel lit up the stage with their beautiful voices and had the crowd dancing all for a great cause.
Money raised from tickets, donations and the live auction all benefit cancer research. The TJ Martell Foundation is the music industry’s leading foundation that funds innovative medical research focused on finding treatments and cures for cancer. The Foundation sources and supports early-stage translational research projects which otherwise might not be funded.
In addition, celebrity guests included Parker Bates, Faithe Herman & Mackenzie Hancsicsak from “This Is Us,” Asher’s “Andi Mack” co-stars Peyton Elizabeth Lee & Luke Mullen, Ricky Garcia, Kristoffer Polaha, Landry Bender and more.
