If you grew up in the 90s then you most likely dreamed of getting to pick a giant gooey nose or hearing Marc Summers tell you, “On Your Mark! Get Set! GO.” That’s because we all dreamed of getting messy on “Double Dare.”
Nickelodeon is jumping on the reboot bandwagon and bringing back their beloved messy game show that used to pit two families against each other in a game of trivia, physical challenges and of course the ultimate messy obstacle course. “Double Dare” will return for 40 new episodes and it will bring back the classic obstacles including the human hamster wheel, the gigantic mouth, the wringer, and the “Double Dare” nose. Also returning will be several unnamed guests from the show’s earlier years.
No host has been named but we’d love to see Marc Summers return. Are you ready to gear up for another round of “Double Dare”?
