We’re a little over a month away from the release of Avengers: Infinity War and to hold us over or to make the wait more painful, the final trailer has been released.
The new trailer gives us a look at more of the hero pairings including more footage of our favorite Wakanda natives like Shuri & Okoye. We also get a glimpse at just how dangerous Thanos is and we are uneasy about the scene near the end with Cap facing off against Thanos. Leave our Captain America and his beard alone!
Now this movie pretty much brings together all the Marvel characters we’ve watched on the big screen the past 10 years. That’s a lot of people in one movie, so who will be getting the majority of the screen time? According to Fandago’s interview with director Joe Russo, it’s Thanos & Thor.
“Interestingly enough, I’ll start out by saying Thanos, even though he’s not a character that had a huge preexisting story in the Marvel universe. He was a threat but he was not developed in any way up to this point. Thanos has an incredible amount of screen time in this film, in a lot of ways I would say it’s his movie,” Joe said. “So I think Thanos has an incredible amount of screen time, and I think you’ll find that Thor has a really interesting arc in the film. He hasn’t been at the forefront of other Avengers movies but he certainly has a very important role in this film. So I’ll say, Thanos and Thor.”
Well, we know we’re excited and it seems like everyone else is too because the film has already broken advance ticket sales records on Fandango becoming the best-selling superhero movie ever. The surprising thing here is that it happened in just six hours since tickets went on sale at 6AM PST/9AM EST today.
Watch the trailer above and let us know which team up you’re most excited to see. Avengers: Infinity War opens April 27, 2018.
