It looks like Johnny Lawrence is back in action and he’s definitely no Mr. Miyagi.

Youtube Red has released the second teaser trailer for the upcoming series “Cobra Kai,” a follow-up to the Karate Kid movies. The teaser finds Johnny opening up his own Cobra Kai dojo and it seems like he takes a student named Miguel (Xolo Maridueña) under his wing. Miguel gives us major young Daniel LaRusso vibes especially at the end of the teaser when he’s washing the windows and asks Johnny if there’s a certain way he wants them washed. We all know Mr Miyagi would have had a specific method.

The teaser also gives us our first quick glimpse at Jacob Bertrand sporting a mohawk as Eli who we’re guessing is the Johnny 2.0 of the series.

“Cobra Kai” picks up 30 years after the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament and finds Daniel and Johnny at different places in their lives. Whereas Daniel is living his best life as a family man and proud owner of the No. 1 car dealership in the Valley, Johnny has fallen a long way since the ’80s and is now a heavy drinking, short-fused antihero living in Reseda, doing odd jobs to make ends meet. However, their rivalry is reignited when they re-enter each other’s lives, which drives Johnny to rediscover his Cobra Kai roots and reopen the infamous karate dojo.

“Cobra Kai” will be released later this year. If you missed the first teaser, watch it below.
