The Merc with a Mouth is known for tossing out pop culture references left & right and he’s using it to his advantage in the promo materials for the upcoming sequel. Ryan Reynolds once again suits up as our favorite foul-mouthed antihero and for the latest poster he recreates the famous water scene from the 80’s dance classic Flashdance but this time instead of water, bullets come raining down. It seems like Reynolds wanted to share what he learned from the dance flick as well tweeting, “Take your passion. And make it happen.”
This hilarious poster is just the latest in the A+ marketing campaign for the film. Deadpool 2 is set to hit theaters May 18, 2018. What do you think of the new poster?
