If you’re anything like me, then you’ve probably been walking around your house belting out “This Is Me” from The Greatest Showman since it was first released. Now all that house singing is about to pay off!
20th Century Fox has announced that they will be releasing a sing-along version of the hit film in theaters for a week. Staring January 12, the sing-along version of the film will be available in 300 theaters around the country allowing viewers to sing along with the infectious songs as the lyrics are displayed on the screen.
That means you can sing along to “Rewrite the Stars” and pretend you’re in Zendaya’s role being wooed by Zac Efron or you can channel Lettie, the bearded lady’s, confidence belting out “This Is Me” and you know what’s even better, you’ll be singing in a theater full of fellow fans of the film and soundtrack.
The film’s songs were penned by Academy Award-winning songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul who recently won the Golden Globe for “This Is Me.” The soundtrack also currently holds the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart and has also reached #1 on iTunes in over 60 countries.
