The Step Up franchise is dancing its way from the big screen to Youtube Red.

Step Up: High Water takes the story to Atlanta which is the home of High Water, the city’s most cutthroat performing arts school run by Sage Odom (Ne-Yo). Petrice Jones & Lauryn McClain star as twins Tal & Janelle who are uprooted from Ohio and find themselves thrust into a world where every move is a test. As they attempt to navigate their new world— on and off the dance floor — they’ll discover just how deep they’re willing to dig to realize their dreams and seize their moment.

The series also stars Naya Rivera as Collette, a former dancer turned administrator, and Carlito Olivero who was first discovered on “The X Factor.” The first season will consist of 10 episodes and tackle many relevant issues and showcase some stellar dancing. It is produced by the franchise’s original stars Channing & Jenna Dewan Tatum along with Adam Shankman, Jennifer Gibgot, and Meredith Milton. It will premiere on January 31 on YouTube Red.
