Step aside boys, the women are about to run this town!
The first trailer for the star-studded sequel Oceans 8 has arrived and yes, we love it! The film follows Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) who is the sister of Danny Ocean from the previous films played by George Clooney. We have our fingers crossed he may make a cameo in the film but it might not happen since there’s a shot of Debbie kneeling by his spot in a mausoleum. Lets hope that’s just Danny faking his death.
Debbie is planning a big heist set at the MET Gala – steal the $150 million necklace off Daphne Kluger’s (Anne Hathaway) neck. In order to do so, Debbie rounds up a diverse group of women (a pick pocket, a jewelry maker, a “housewife”) each with different skills to pull off the perfect heist in New York. Will they be successful?
Joining Bullock & Hathaway in the film are Cate Blanchett, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna & Helena Bonham Carter. You’ll even catch a glimpse of James Corden and it’s rumored Matt Damon will reprise his Oceans 11 role for a cameo.
