After days of teasing, the first official trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has arrived!

J.A. Bayona takes on director duties for the next installment of the beloved franchise that also sees the return of the one-and-only Jeff Goldblum. The events of Fallen Kingdom pick up four years after the events of Jurassic World when the theme park and luxury resort was destroyed by dinosaurs out of containment. We’re looking at you Indominus Rex!

The trailer begins with Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) reuniting with Owen (Chris Pratt) in order to team up to save the dinosaurs on Isla Nublar from the island’s dormant volcano that has come back to life. Owen doesn’t seem too optimistic of the mission until Claire brings up Blue, the raptor Owen raised. Now Owen is driven to return to rescue Blue but when they arrive on the island, lava begins raining down plus their expedition uncovers a conspiracy that could return our entire planet to a perilous order not seen since prehistoric times.
