If you’ve seen the trailers for Happy Death Day then you’ve probably seen the crazy baby face mask that will be haunting the main characters in the movie. We aren’t going to lie, the baby mask is pretty terrifying and we have a feeling it will become an iconic mask in horror films.

We recently sat down with Israel Broussard & Jessica Rothe who star as Carter & Tree in the Universal Pictures film and challenged them to name as many famous horror masks as they could in 30 seconds. We tripped them up on one mask, but we have to say they did pretty well. They also told us what they call the mask in the film.

We also chatted with the cast and producer Jason Blum & director Christopher Landon to talk about the filming process sand mixing comedy and horror.

When it comes to filming and keeping the emotional levels of each of the various days in sync, Jessica credited director Chris Landon for “being a genius.” “We were lucky we had rehearsal time before…to help figure out where those marking points were. Chris was instrumental in that then it was lots and lots of notes.”
