Dreams do come true, just ask Laurie Hernandez!
The Olympic gymnast has already achieved two of her biggest dreams – going to the Olympics & being on “Dancing with the Stars” – and all before the age of 16. Now her third biggest dream has come true – meeting Tori Kelly! If you’ve watched any interview with Laurie, then you know Tori is the one person she’s wanted to meet the most and on Saturday during the LA stop of the Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions, Laurie go the surprise of her life.
Laurie & Tori both shared videos to Instagram which show Laurie being introduced to a woman who goes “I want to introduce you to my friend” and then Tori appears behind a banner and Laurie’s reaction is pricless. We saw Laurie after the show and asked her about it and she still couldn’t form words.
Afterwards, she took to twitter to say, “Literally just met the person I’ve always looked up to omgg…I’m shook.” (PS, for those asking, she did say hi to the little girl but when Laurie went to hug her, the girl walked away haha)
Lots of stars also stepped out for one of the 2 shows at Staples Center including Amy Adams, Alfonso Ribeiro, Amy Adams, Jake Miller, Redfoo, Derek Hough and more.
