After watching Laurie Hernandez on “Dancing with the Stars” last night, it’s official, her energy is infectious!
Ok, so that news actually isn’t new. We probably knew that when we first saw her at the Olympics but she brought that high energy to the dance floor last night earning the highest score of the season so far! During week 2, aka TV night, Laurie and Val danced to the theme from one of the best cartoons, “Ducktales.” Laurie hit the dance floor with her girls paying homage to Huey, Dewey and Louie while Val dressed as Uncle Scrooge. Their jive was pretty near perfect and earned a 32 and while Laurie was all smiles, Val even seemed a little winded.
Laurie’s teammater and former DWTS contestant Aly Raisman also stopped by the ballroom to cheer on Laurie.
Laurie is definitely proving why she’s the favorite to win the mirrorball this season and we can’t wait to see what she dances to next week. Watch Laurie’s jive below!
