Miley joined her co-stars Woody Allen, John Magaro, Rachel Brosnahan, Joy Behar, Max Casella, Christine Ebersole, Sondra James, Margaret Ladd, Gad Elmaleh and Kaili Vernoff at the event but stayed true to her word and didn’t walk the red carpet. Instead, she did pose for some photos backstage.

“Crisis in Six Scenes” is a six-half hour episode comedy that takes place in the 1960’s during turbulent times in the United States when a middle class suburban family is visited by a guest who turns their household completely upside down. Miley stopped by the TODAY show to talk about her character saying “I’m a female revolutionary character in the 60s.” She revealed she really didn’t have to dig too deep to play this character because it was kind of written for her! Miley also talked about joining “The Voice” and why she loves the show.
