Shawn Mendes is ready to bring his new album Illuminate to a venue near you!
The 18-year-old’s new album drops September 23 and he announced today that you’ll be able to see him perform it live very soon all around the world. The Illuminate World Tour will kick off April 27 in the UK and will hit a total of 44 cities around the globe and there are still more dates that have yet to be announced! The North American leg will kick off July 6 and fan club presales begin Sunday, September 11 at 4 p.m. while American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Monday, September 12 at 10 a.m. through Friday, September 16 at 10 p.m.
In addition, Shawn recently sat down with Larry King on “Larry King Now” where he got candid about a number of subjects including the process making his new album ‘Illuminate,’ being compared to Justin Bieber and why his next big career move may be acting. On acting, Shawn said, “I love acting. In the music videos we’re releasing, you kinda of get to see the acting. I’d love to venture into that land.” Well, he’s already shown those skills on “The 100” so we’d be down for more acting from Shawn.
