The cast of Melissa McCarthy’s next movie, Life of the Party is growing!
The film will star McCarthy alongside Julie Bowen, Maya Rudolph, Gillian Jacobs, Jacki Weaver, Debby Ryan, and Matt Walsh. Debby will be joined in the movie by a familiar former Disney face, Luke Benward, according to Variety. There’s no word yet on what character he’ll play but we’ve seen Debby’s snapchats with the cast which also seems to include Logan Miller & Chloe Bridges, so it seems like a good time. Another face joining the cast for a small role according to THR is Shannon Purser, who is best known from her breakout turn as Barb in “Stranger Things.”
McCarthy is set to star as Deanna in the flick that is said to have a tone similar to the Rodney Dangerfield classic “Back to School.” We can’t wait to see how it turns out. We love this cast!
