The cast for “Dancing With the Stars” season 23 was announced yesterday and now all the couples are in the rehearsal studio working on their footwork.
Olympic Gold Medalist Laurie Hernandez and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy are busy rehearsing in Laurie’s home state of New Jersey and it looks like things are going well. The two have been all over their Snapchat & Instagram stories sharing cute behind the scenes videos and pictures. Our favorite has to be this one which gives us a sneak peek at the duo’s dancing but more importantly how quickly they’ve bonded. They already have a handshake!
Val captioned the video with, “still need a lot of work on the frame. but eyyyyy we already got a handshake. so excited for the season. Helping this incredible girl reach her ballroom dreams. She’s is a real gem.”
