Britney Spears has been in the limelight ever since she was a tween on the Mickey Mouse Club and now thanks to Lifetime, you’ll get a new look inside her life.
Britney Spears is gearing up to release her latest album this week and Lifetime is celebrating by announcing a new TV movie biopic focused on the pop icon. According to THR, the film will star Hail, Caesar! actress Natasha Bassett and the film will detail her “rise to fame, fall from grace and triumphant resurrection.”
The two-hour movie will begin with her early career as a young girl from Louisiana as well as her high profile relationships with Justin Timberlake, Jason Alexander and Kevin Federline.
Production is set to begin Sept. 19 in Vancouver for a 2017 premiere and as expected, with most Lifetime biopics, we don’t expect Spears to be contributing herself, think of it as one of those unauthorized biographies.
