Nick Jonas stars as a frat boy in the Sundance hit Goat which will be hitting the big screen September 23.

It was announced today that Paramount Worldwide Television Licensing & Distribution and Acquisitions and The Film Arcade will be releasing Andrew Neel’s Sundance sensation September 23rd, as well as on Digital and On Demand. The movie will open in New York, Los Angeles and additional markets across the U.S.

The intense film is based on Brad Land’s memoir and follows a 19-year-old Brad (Ben Schnetzer), newly arrived to college and desperate to belong. Taking a cue from his older brother Brett (Jonas), Brad decides to pledge a fraternity. At first, it’s all parties and girls. But as Brad enters into the final stretch of the pledging ritual—known as “hell week,”—things take a violent, humiliating turn. What occurs in the name of ‘brotherhood’ tests both boys and their relationship in brutal ways.
