Get ready to have your palms sweat because the first trailer for the highly anticipated thriller, The Girl on the Train, has arrived!
The film, based on the best-selling book by Paula Hawkins, follows the story of Rachel (Blunt), who is devastated by her recent divorce and spends her daily commute fantasizing about the seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day, until one morning she sees something shocking happen there and becomes entangled in the mystery that unfolds.
The film stars Emily Blunt, Rebecca Ferguson, Haley Bennett, Justin Theroux, Luke Evans, Allison Janney, Edgar Ramirez, Lisa Kudrow and Laura Prepon and is directed by Tate Taylor (The Help, Get on Up).
Watching the trailer definitely got our blood pumping this morning and ready for a wild ride. We just need answers to so many questions! (Even though we could just go read the book…) We cannot wait for October 7, 2016. Check out the trailer below.
