To help ring in the new year, Taylor Swift premiered her music video for “Out of the Woods” during Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve tonight.
The video is beautifully shot and follows Taylor as she runs, well, through the woods to escape wolves, and then into the snowy mountains and then into the ocean and then fiery woods and more. She even is shown ripping off a necklace and throwing it into the water…could she be referencing the paper airplane necklace her ex Harry Styles gave her? The video ends with…well we don’t want to give it away but it’s a beautiful video about finding yourself and ends with the hidden message from “Clean” off her album, “She lost him but she found herself and somehow that was everything.”
