Zac Efron may be stepping into some iconic red swimshorts made famous by David Hasselhoff.
Dwayne Johnson is set to star in a movie version of “Baywatch” from Paramount and according to THR, Zefron might join him on the beach! Zac is currently in negotiations for the movie based on the 1990s television series about California lifeguards.
The story centers on a by-the-book and very serious lifeguard (Johnson) who is forced to team up with a young rule-flouting hothead (Efron) in order to save their beach from environmental destruction at the hands of an oil tycoon. wrote the most recent draft.
The movie will be directed by Seth Gordon with a script from Damian Shannon and Mark Swift. The movie will most likely start production in February 2016.
We have our fingers crossed that Zac’s deal goes through. We definitely wouldn’t mind watching him do the famous “Baywatch” slow motion beach run. While we wait for “Baywatch,” Zac can be seen soon in “We Are Your Friends” which is heading out on tour. Get all the details here.
