When we chatted with Zendaya in June, she told us she was launching a shoe line and now it’s finally here!
The 18-year-old’s shoe line is called Daya after her family nickname and she helped launch the shoes today with a special event. Footwearnews also released some great photos of the shoes. “I wanted shoes that were going to speak for themselves. If [consumers] didn’t know who the heck I was, which a lot of people don’t, they are still going to like the shoes,” Zendaya said of her shoeline. “I don’t want people buying because they’re Zendaya shoes — they are for everyone.”
Zendaya took to social media to share some photos of the shoes and she took to twitter to reassure fans that they will be affordable.
