Another “Boy Meets World” alum and fan favorite is set to appear on season 2 of “Girl Meets World.”
On April 3, Will Friedle tweeted out a selfie of himself and Anthony Quinn which immediately got GMW fans curious. Quinn played Mr. Turner on “Boy Meets World” and after a motorcycle accident on the show, he just sort of disappeared.
The “Girl Meets World” writers took to twitter today to confirm that Quinn will indeed appear in season 2 in an episode called “Girl Meets New Teacher.” Maybe we’ll finally find out where Mr. Turner went. We’re also hoping for a Shawn/Mr. Turner reunion. He was basically Shawn’s father figure on the show.
Season 2 of GMW is shaping up to be pretty amazing. Rider Strong will be back in a recurring capacity while Will Friedle will return as Eric Matthews for some episodes as well as Trina McGee-Davis will return as as Shawn’s ex-girlfriend Angela Moore and Blake Clark as Shawn’s late father Chet. Now all we need is for Matthew Lawrence to come back and even Morgan, Cory and Eric’s little sister.
