zendaya-demilovato-022015The 2nd annual unite4:humanity event presented by ALCATEL ONETOUCH took place on Thursday night and some of our favorite stars stepped out for the event.

Zendaya received the Young Luminary Award from Demi Lovato, who won the same award last year. “There’s so much inspiration here in this room,” said 18-year-old “K.C. Undercover’s” Zendaya. “There’s no age limit on being able to help people and just being able to inspire others, and I just want to be living proof of that,” Zendaya shared in her speech. The 18-year-old works with a number of charities including Convoy of Hope and UNICEF.

Josh Hutcherson was also honored by Jesse Tyler Ferguson with the Young Humanitarian Award for his work with Straight But Not Narrow. “Everyone else’s existence is just as important as your own,” Josh said during his speech. “We’re helping illuminate the fact that we’re all in this world together… going through a lot of the same s–t,” he said, quickly correcting himself through the audience’s laughter: “Stuff!”

Sarah Hyland was also in attendance at the event which serves as a pre-cursor to the conference4:change, which will take place on March 14 at the University of Southern California, and will explore ways in which media makers can integrate and inspire social change through their projects.

Big congrats to Zendaya & Josh!
