If you missed Saturday Night Live’s 40th Anniversary Special last night, you missed something epic.
The 3 and a half hour long show featured monologues from many past cast members and hosts as well as some new sketches with beloved characters and montages of old clips. Our favorite montage had to be of various cast members audition clips.
A number of guests stopped by the show including Taylor Swift who popped up in one of our all-time favorite sketches, The Californians. Miley Cyrus popped up twice, once in a monologue and then she also performed a Paul Simon classic. Also, Emma Stone paid tribute to one of her favorite characters who was played by Gilda Radner during the epic weekend update with Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Jane Curtin.
Watch some highlights below! What was your favorite part of the special? One of ours was definitely Jimmy Fallon & Justin Timberlake’s history of SNL song.
