New music from Shawn Mendes is on the way!
Shawn Mendes stopped by the Today Show yesterday to announce that his debut album, Handwritten will be hitting stores on April 28. Thanks to MTV, we also have the cover art for the album.
The album will be available for pre-order on iTunes Feb. 2 and and if you pre-order you will instantly get a download of his brand-new song “A Little Too Much,” as well as four other unreleased songs. You can watch Shawn perform “A Little Too Much” on the Today Show below.
Shawn told MTV, “I’m so excited for my fans to hear this new music, and so I’ll be giving them a ton of new music and videos leading into the release. These next few months there will be lots of surprises. I put so much hard work into this and am so excited to share it with the world! It really is true to who I am as a writer and artist, and I can’t wait for people to hear it.”
He continued, “There’s almost this rap-sing song, which I think is going be super awesome for my fans to hear. I really get in-depth. The music is coming from my heart and I think my fans are going to love that; I hope so at least.”
