Disney is gearing up to release their new live-action version of Cinderella, but it’s another Disney princess that has the internet buzzing today.
It was recently announced that Disney will be making a live-action version of Beauty & The Beast to be directed by Bill Condon and now we officially have our Belle. Emma Watson will be taking on the lead role of the bookworm heroine who falls in love with the misunderstood Beast.
The former Harry Potter star took to her official Facebook to share her excitement saying, “I’m finally able to tell you… that I will be playing Belle in Disney’s new live-action Beauty and the Beast! It was such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I’ll get to dance to ‘Be Our Guest’ and sing ‘Something There’. My six year old self is on the ceiling – heart bursting. Time to start some singing lessons. I can’t wait for you to see it.”
Wait, we get to hear Emma Watson sing?? This is going to be good. Congrats Emma!
