DirecTV Picks Up “Kingdom” For Two More Seasons

nickjonas-kissfm-101714We are only 2 episodes into DirecTV’s original show “Kingdom” and it looks like it’s already a hit.

It was just announced that the MMA-family drama starring Frank Grillo, Nick Jonas, Matt Lauria & Jonathan Tucker has been picked up for not one, but TWO more seasons! That’s right, a total of 20 more episodes are on the way after the 10-episode first season ends.

Season 2 will be airing on DirecTV’s Audience Network in fall 2015, and the following 10 slated for 2016. DirecTV said the rookie show “has proven to be one of Audience Network’s most popular shows of all time.”

“DirecTV could not be more thrilled by the response that last week’s premiere of Kingdom elicited from both critics and our viewers,” said Chris Long, DirecTV’s SVP Original Content and Production. “The series very clearly resonated with DirecTV’s subscribers.”
