A big congratulations goes out to Olivia Holt!
The “I Didn’t Do It” star has been teasing a “big announcement” on twitter and that announcement is finally here. She’s signed a record deal!
Olivia has signed a recording contract with Hollywood Records, it was announced today by Disney Music Group Senior Vice President, A&R, Mio Vukovic. Olivia will be releasing her debut album in 2015.
“I’m so thrilled to be a part of the Hollywood Records family,” Olivia said in a statement. “I’m so grateful for this opportunity, and to have a great partner who has had so much success with other artists I look up to is very exciting for me. My hope is that my first record will reflect me and my personal sound, which is a mix of pop and soul. I love real elements in music that produce a natural sound, and I want to incorporate as much of that as possible in my album. This is all so surreal for me and I’m so looking forward to whatever the future has in store for me, and to bring my music to my fans.”
We are so excited for Olivia and cannot wait to hear what kind of music she makes. Until then, we’ll just listen to the song below on repeat. Congrats Liv!
