The 10s were out in full force on “Dancing with the Stars” last night, at least for two of the stars.
The theme for week 3 of competition was movie night and we got to get nostalgic with Lea Thompson as she brought back Lorraine McFly & danced to the “Power of Love.” Jonathan Bennett brought us The Great Gatsby while Sadie Robertson waltzed to Up.
The ladies of the night, however, were Janel Parrish and Bethany Mota. Both girls did Jazz routines and both scored the first perfect scores of the night!
Janel and Val did their dance to “America” from West Side Story and faced some issues during rehearsal. After two days of rehearsing, they got a call saying their dance could not have any moves from the original movie or any props. Talk about a game changer! The two changed up the dance and it paid off.
Bethany and Mota paid homage to Singing in the Rain and even got a visit from Gene Kelly’s wife. Can you say Derek was in heaven? He choreographed a perfect number and we even got to see footage of him dancing to the song as a 4-year-old. So cute!
