We are just a few weeks away from the release of The Maze Runner and to get you excited, new character posters and clips have been released!
New posters for Thomas, Teresa, Minho, Newt and Gally have been released and we’re loving them. Plus, all these clips make us wish it was September 19 already.
If you’re a fan of the book series, get excited because Buzzfeed broke the news today that pre-production has already started on the second film in the series for The Scorch Trials.
“We’ve got stages, we’ve got crews coming in, Dylan [O’Brien] will be back in a few weeks, we’re building sets, and the script is being written,” The Maze Runner director Wes Ball told BuzzFeed. “It’s a bit of a race this time because we’re cautiously optimistic, but we’re feeling excited we’re about to do something that’s way more sophisticated, way more grown up, and really set up a saga here.”
We hear that fans will be wanting a sequel after seeing The Maze Runner because many questions are purposely left unanswered at the end of the film. “It’s a ballsy ending, man, we don’t answer everything — but that’s the book,” said Ball. “Hopefully, they’ll want the next one because we pick up exactly where we left off; you could really watch the movies back to back and it would be one long story.”
