Ed Sheeran brought his first US Arena headlining tour to Los Angeles this week and stopped by the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Armed with some big video screens, guitars and a loop pedal, our favorite ginger commanded the stage and had the whole crowd singing along with songs from his latest album X and fan favorites. He performed a number of songs including “Runaway,” “Thinking Out Loud,” “Don’t” and “The A Team.” He even got the entire crowd to be silent as he belted out the beautiful ballad “Afire Love.”
During his encore, Ed had a surprise for the crowd. He covered one of his favorite songs, “Chasing Cars,” by Snow Patrol. After Ed started the song, Gary Lightbody from Snow Patrol joined him on stage for an epic duet.
