Dylan O’Brien traveled over to Italy to attend the 2014 Giffoni Film Festival on Monday.
The 22-year-old was on hand to promote his new movie The Maze Runner and he also sat down for a Q&A at the Giffoni Experience in Giffoni Valle Piana. Check out some highlights.
On moving to LA to act: Every artist is different, every person is different. When I was 12 I moved to California and it was hard: I had no friends, never went out there and I felt different. But all this has opened up the world of cinema because it was at that moment that I began to write and shoot something for the web. In the early days I was ashamed a lot and do not say it to anyone. Now, thinking about it, I am ashamed to essermene ashamed, of having hidden this part of me, this passion that has helped me to grow. The important thing is to be yourself.
On the future: I have no precise idea. My goal is to improve day after day as a person and as an actor.
