We are days away until the release of Jesse McCartney’s new album In Technicolor.
As a treat for fans, Jesse has released a new song from the album called “The Other Guy.” The beautifl ballad is a song about finding himself in a love triangle, that he can’t seem to want to get out of. It is a vulnerable and stripped-down song in which he battles with his emotions and wanting to be more than the girl’s “great escape.”
Some of the lyrics go, “Girl, I’m sitting here wondering what it is that we’ve done/ Baby, who am I?/ To be that other guy/ Cause I’ve seen tables turn/ A world of hurt/ I never want to feel twice/ I know what it’s like from the other side.”
