Say hello to your new crush, Brenton Thwaites.
Brenton has three movies currently out in theaters – Oculus, The Signal & Maleficent – but you still might not be too familiar with his name. This year, that will definitely change. In addition to those three movies, Brenton also takes on the lead role of Jonas in the highly anticipated movie adaptation of The Giver, out August 15, 2014.
We’ve been crushing on Brenton ever since he lit up the US TV screen in Lifetime’s “Blue Lagoon: The Awakening” and Netflix aired his old show “SLiDE” (which they’ve sadly removed from streaming). The 24-year-old Australian actor (yes, he’s another hot Aussie) also appeared on the Australian shows “Sea Patrol” and “Home & Away” before leaping to the big screen and into our hearts.
So go ahead and prepare to swoon as we give you reasons why Brenton deserves to be your new Summer crush.
