Watch out Kate Winslet, another Hollywood heavyweight is joining the Divergent family.
THR announced this morning that Oscar nominee Naomi Watts has joined Insurgent and both Allegiant films, the follow ups to this year’s Divergent. So who will she be playing?
Watts will star as Evelyn, leader of the Factionless. She will start work on Insurgent ASAP, as the film began shooting last week in Atlanta. Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Ansel Elgort, Kate Winslet and Miles Teller all return for the sequel. Watts joins Octavia Spencer as new additions to the cast.
