And the renewals keep coming!
The Wrap just announced today that “Mighty Med” will be returning for a season 2 to Disney XD. The show will begin production in Los Angeles in July for a fall 2014 second season return.
“Mighty Med” stars Bradley Steven Perry, Jake Short, Paris Berelc & Devan Leos and is the network’s #1 show. “The show’s clever take on the popular superhero genre has made this show a hit with Disney XD viewers,” Disney Channels Worldwide executive vice president of original programming told TheWrap in a statement.
He continued, “Our fans have embraced the show and its talented cast, and we look forward to delivering more action-packed and comical adventures in Season 2.”
“Mighty Med” follows the fun and unpredictable adventures of two teenage best friends Kaz and Oliver, who while hanging out at The Domain, their favorite comic book and video game store, they experience an unexpected mishap that lands them in the hospital. There, they inadvertently discover a hidden door that leads to Mighty Med, a secret hospital that treats all their favorite superheroes, sci-fi and fantasy characters.
