Say hello to your newest Bardon Bella!
Hailee Steinfeld is the latest star to sign on for the sequel to the hugely successful a capella focused film Pitch Perfect. The news was first reported by Variety and then confirmed on the movie’s official twitter. There are no details on who Hailee will play, but she will be one of the Bardon Bellas. We have a feeling she’ll play a new freshmen recruit seeing as how she is only 17 in real life. Chrissie Fit from “Teen Beach Movie” will also play a Bardon Bella.
Everyone from Hailee to director & co-star Elizabeth Banks shared their excitement on twitter. Hailee isn’t really know for music, but we are excited to see and hear her sing. Music is something the 17-year-old has always been interested in and you can see her show off a little of those talents in the upcoming film Begin Again.
Hailee covers the current Young Hollywood issue of Nylon Magazine where she revealed she’s been “playing around a bit” writing songs and picking up instruments. A song she co-wrote called “Warrior” played in a recent Olay commercial during the Grammys.
Maybe Hailee’s bff Taylor Swift can give her some tips. Hailee dished to Nylon saying “[Taylor’s] a really great person and an inspiration to me and many others.”
