Sabrina, who will star as Maya in the upcoming “Boy Meets World” spinoff, has released a four song EP also titled Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying. The EP showcases the 14-year-old’s mature voice and country music styling.

The EP kicks off with the title track and first single, “Can’t Blame A Girl For Trying,” an instant feel-good, summertime anthem. “Middle of Starting Over” is a folk meets pop jam with a rousing girl power theme that inspires resilience and determination while “White Flag” with its moving rhythm sends a message about taking chances and perseverance. The EP wraps with “Best Thing That I’ve Got” an uplifting song about falling for the right person.

Sabrina is currently working on her full-length album and fans of the EP can expect an album with a whole lot of spunk and a good amount of heart. “Through all of the decisions I’ve had to make, they’ve left it up to me and I’ve gotten to use my own voice and my own quirks,” Sabrina says. “Hopefully my listeners hear that and see it in themselves too.” We can’t wait!
