Zac will be starring in and producing the legal drama The Associate based on the novel by John Grisham. The novel was released in 2009 and follows a Yale Law School grad (Efron) who is blackmailed by a group of criminals. This isn’t the first time that The Associate has been eyed for the big screen. Paramount originally tried to develop it in 2008, with Shia LaBeouf attached to star.
